If you needed a reason to stop moving to Atlanta besides the never ending traffic that seems to be living and growing daily in these streets of "HotLanta" then here are my top three reason why people should stop moving to good ole Atlanta.
Now don't get me wrong I'm not a hater of the great city of Atlanta and I do visit a lot and also I quite often work out of Atlanta. This is more of a cautionary tale to those who think that moving to Atlanta is life changing and only heard the good things and need to know the truth.
Black America is always raving about how if you want a new job move to Atlanta. Well that might have been true in the early 99's into the 2000 when the Cash Money Boys were taking over, but now in 2016, the job market has significantly sunk and a lot of jobs are already filled. Since literally everyone has made this move already newcomers find themselves fighting and competing for the same jobs depending on the job market that interest you or taking jobs that they are overqualified for.
If you're looking for change why would you move to a city where everyone you knew moved to? You won't be truly opening up yourself to meeting new people and having new experiences if everyone is the same. Most people figure this out late and end up hating their decision to move to Atlanta for this reason the most. They find out their fresh start is really a stale do-over.
Now ladies here is the real reason to run for the hills ... are you tired of dealing with brothers on the "down low" and just want a straight guy that love God and wanna raise a family and don't cheat? Well Atlanta is not the place for you! With the largest number of black strip clubs and gay clubs this is the perfect playground for players cheaters and and closeted creepers.
While all cities have something to dislike about them Atlanta does have some good qualities as well. It's just not a great idea for everyone to choose. Try Seattle, Dallas or maybe D.C. . In life whatever you do just make sure you listen and follow your own heart, mind, and spirit. God Bless and to yourself, be true.
